Wow! July is off to a fast start. There must be something in the Bayou because we’ve had several new additions to our leaderboard for Midnight on the Bayou including a group who took over the #1 spot from Scapegoats!

What was even better was that when they finished, the Game Master incorrectly thought they were #2 on the board and groans of sadness were heard out into our waiting room where we peeked our head in and informed them they were actually #1! Cheers all around!

We had two other excellent times in the last week, including our favorite team name of “Bayou a Drink?”. Of course, they had on one of our favorite Tyrion Lannister Game of Thrones themed t-shirts too… Smart, quick thinking, and brilliant taste in television shows.
One of my favorite things to do, however, is watch when different groups of people come together to play Midnight on the Bayou. We had two groups play on a late Monday night before 4th of July and when they came out (after successfully escaping!), they came back into the waiting room to work on some wooden puzzles they couldn’t figure out before the game started. They ended up exchanging numbers and making plans to team up to visit another escape room together.
